Teaching & Assessment
The course will be delivered over an 8-week period with six taught days. Using the University of Greater Manchester's campus plus approach, 70% of the teaching will take place in person (face-to-face), with the other 30% being delivered using flexible and creative learning technologies. Tutorials will be structured within the timetable, including the opportunity for formative feedback. Subject matter experts from the clinical environment will inform the course content.
Formative assessment supports learning by allowing you to reflect on feedback from your tutors and peers. It takes a variety of forms, including practice assessments, reviewing written work, and role-playing. The summative assessment strategy is underpinned by a poster presentation that will demonstrate your creative flair and knowledge. The presentation will be followed by a professional discussion with an opportunity for questions.
We use a blended style of learning and teaching, including online delivery and engagement where appropriate.
The university will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver your course as described in its published material and the programme specification for the academic year in which you begin your course.
